NSAI Central Arkansas chapter sponsors monthly songwriter nights at Khalil’s Pub & Grill located at 110 S. Shackleford in Little Rock. The venue is set up cabaret-style in the restaurant side, and is non-smoking.

Member songwriters perform their original songs in organized sets in modified “Bluebird Cafe” style—performers must request in advance to appear on the roster.

Songwriter Showcase Nights are on first Mondays of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00. Dates and times are subject to change with holiday schedules.

Free Age limit: 21+

• Registration from 9 to 10:00 • 10:00 Convene workshop • 10:10 to 11:45: “Better Lyric Writing”—Ways to make your lyrics stand out and be memorable • 11:45 Break for lunch (light lunch on site included) • 12:30 to 2:00: “The Power of New”—Exploring the opportunity to write fresh songs by making the most of new ideas, surroundings and unexpected situations • 2:00 to 4:00: Song Evaluations--play a song (live or recorded) for Craig to critique. Bring 15 copies of your lyrics. • 4:00 to 4:15: Wrap-up
